My Favourite Recipes off Pinterest

Surprise! It’s not another post about travel. Today I’m doing something a little different because if you know me, I’m not always traveling. I maintain a full-time career and life in Toronto, Canada. Although I work full-time my mind is always on where my next trip will be and even though Toronto is an expensive city to live, I’m always looking for ways to save money for my next adventure. How do you think I afford to travel so much? Anyway, I’ve always been an advocate for making food at home and packing a lunch for work. I think people spend SO much money on eating out and in a city like Toronto where food options are endless and delicious, it’s easy to be tempted. So over the years I’ve found some go-to recipes that are easy, budget-friendly and satisfy me enough that I’m not tempted to buy lunch or dinner out. Here are some of my favs off Pinterest!

Pineapple Ginger Kombucha

Lately I’ve really been into brewing my own kombucha. I took a workshop a few months ago and have been making it since. The best part of kombucha brewing is you can experiment with flavours and this is by far my favourite flavour combo yet. Plus buying kombucha is super expensive and it’s actually incredibly cheap and easy to make yourself.
