A Day at Railay Beach

Today we got up and headed to get our daily Thai pancake and fruit shake for breakfast. I’m going to go through withdrawal when we leave here! After we headed towards the beach to get tickets (200 baht round trip) for the water taxi to take us to Railay Beach. It took about 15 minutes by boat.

We spent the day at Railay. It was cloudy most of the day than rainy in the afternoon but it really didn’t bother us too much. It was probably more bearable this way than how hot it would be if the sun was out all day.

Railay Beach Thailand

We rented a kayak in the afternoon and kayaked around the beaches and caves a bit, and other than that we just relaxed for our second last day in Thailand.

Tonight we decided to street vendor hop for dinner. We tried a chicken kabob wrap, chicken skewer, pad Thai and spring rolls. All amazing, and so cheap! Afterwards we just walked around the main area and went to Boogie Bar for live music and some drinks. The band that was playing played all covers and was really good!

Street Food Thailand

We’re now back at our hostel and are heading out to Bangkok tomorrow for our final night before we are back in Canada. Although I miss my friends and family at Christmas, I can’t help but be sad that I can’t stay here!
